How We Share Your Information
We only share your information with the people we need to in order to run Craft Cottage properly:
- Shipping and courier partners — to deliver your order to your address
- Payment processors — currently not applicable, since we operate on Cash on Delivery. Once we launch online payments, this section will be updated to name our payment provider
- Website and hosting providers — who keep craftcottageofficial.com running (for example, our hosting provider and WooCommerce/WordPress infrastructure)
- Email or marketing tools — if you’ve subscribed to our newsletter, to send you updates
- Legal authorities — only if required by law, or to protect our rights, customers, or business from fraud or harm
We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent.
Data Retention
We keep your order and account information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, including order history, warranty or after-sales support, and our legal or accounting requirements. We may retain certain information for a longer period if there’s an unresolved complaint, dispute, or a reasonable need to protect our business or your interests. Children’s Privacy
Craft Cottage is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we’ll remove it.
International Visitors
While Craft Cottage is based in Pakistan, we welcome visitors and customers from other countries. If you’re visiting from outside Pakistan, please note that your information will be transferred to and processed in Pakistan, where data protection laws may differ from those in your home country. We aim to protect your information to a high standard regardless of where you’re located.
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. This includes restricted access to customer data within our team, and, once our online payment gateway launches, secure payment processing through a trusted provider. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
